How is the GED Scored and What is a Good Score?
Each test on the GED is scored from a 200 to 800. GED is a pass/fail based test. A good score on the GED is the one that allows you to pass. In order to pass the GED, you have to score at 410 on each of the five tests. You need to have an average score higher than 450. Your total minimum score must be 2250 out of the 5 tests.
Can You Retake the GED Test?
If you couldn’t score a 410 on any one test, you’ve 90-days before you can take the exam again. Previously, one had to retake all the 5 GED tests in case one couldn’t score pass marks in a single subject.
